This deep golden colour Banarasi classic, woven in pure chiniya katan silk is an ideal saree for attending haldi rasam or for any pre wedding functions or for any festivities, which has double square zari butas of floral motifs all across with intricate design of lotus. Zari and floral work in the borders with thick dense zari aanchal.
Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhwa) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric.
The saree comes with its own running blouse piece. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purpose only.
