Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric.
Speciality - A traditional jangla classic adorned in the intricate patterns of floral motifs, leaves and a jaal or a creeper covering the entire length of the saree. Dense heavy work on its aanchal makes for a luxurious weave of pure handloom banarasi saree.
The saree comes with its own running blouse piece. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purpose only.
