Sargam is pure elegance of craftsmanship in hues of soft & dark pink with gold motifs & golden border in weaving technique of Rangkat Kadhwa in pure katan silk. It is a highest order of kadhwa weaving, weaved in a crossover of alluring yarns in glowing yet jewel colours.
Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhwa) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric.
Speciality - Rangkat is one of the speciality of Banarasi handloom sarees which is on the verge of disappearing. Only a handful of weavers are remaining that can weave a true Rangkat, which requires multiple changes in the warp and the weft to produce a beautiful multi coloured garment. Aanchal made of dense golden intricate design of paisley and floral motifs.
The saree comes with its own running blouse piece. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purpose only.
Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But this is the charm of owning a pure handwoven beauty.
